Ooh just look!!! I’m sooooo excited about my new book purchase!! My wonderful hubby absolutely spoils me and picked this up for me when we went shopping today after he saw me pining after it 😍 he really feeds my habit 🤣
I am a huge fan of @debbiemacomber books and “A Mrs Christmas Miracle” just sounds absolutely magical. I loved Mr Miracle, and I just know this book is going to be just as special.
I stumbled across Debbie’s books in the library a couple of years ago, and now I’ve got quite a collection. They’re so beautifully written and I always manage to get lost in them.
💫Book Review💫⠀ ⠀ I am so pleased to be part of @rararesources blogging team, and this is my first review with her!! ⠀ ⠀ 💭My Thoughts💭⠀ ⠀ I thoroughly enjoyed this novella, and it’s the first book that I have read by this author.⠀ ⠀ With it being a novella I was left wanting more, so I can’t wait to read more by Lorraine Wilson.⠀ ⠀ “Christmas at the Chateau” was a lovely heartwarming read, and I loved Poppy’s love for all things Christmas!!! She also has the most adorable dogs which play a huge role in this gorgeous festive book. It gave me the perfect Christmas feel and really got me in the spirit!! A wonderful Christmassy read 😍⠀ ⠀ I give “Christmas at the Chateau” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.
Christmas at the Château A Christmas she’ll remember forever… Poppy is looking forward to spending her first Christmas in France at her boyfriend, Leo’s, Château. And as the snow falls softly around the dramatic castle, Poppy can’t think of anything more magical. There are new traditions to discover, a cosy Christmas market to explore and best of all, a promise of a secret treasure hunt from gorgeous Leo. Only family pressure and uncertainty about her future in France can threaten to cast a shadow over the holiday. When the treasure hunt takes an unexpected turn Poppy knows for sure this is one Christmas she’ll remember forever.
Lorraine Wilson writes flirty, feel-good fiction for One More Chapter – a Harper Collins imprint – and is unashamedly fond of happy endings. She loves hearing from readers and feels incredibly grateful to be doing the job she always dreamt of. She splits her time between the South of France and Cambridgeshire and is usually either writing or reading while being sat on, walked over or barked at by one of her growing band of rescue dogs. Ok, let me start off by saying that I stayed up WAY past my bedtime last night to finish this wonderful book off. It’s my first book by @mandybaggot and it will absolutely NOT be my last!!! I really really loved it.⠀
“Emily is having the worst Christmas ever. Her flat mate and best friend has moved out, and she’s worried that she’ll never be capable to love again after her recent heartache. ⠀
Now she’s in charge of her schools Christmas production, bearing in mind that she has zero musical talent whatsoever and is starting to panic.⠀
Ray Stone is a fallen musician, and is in desperate need of turning his career around. After stumbling onto the school property, in a drunken stupor, and accidentally meeting Emily and her class of year 6’s, it soon becomes apparent that Emily and Ray can help each other out. ⠀
As there friendship blossoms, is it possible for these two to open their hearts again after everything they’ve suffered before?”⠀
💫My thoughts💭 ⠀
This book was absolutely my kind of book. The story telling was captivating and I instantly warmed to all of the characters.⠀
I loved Emily’s relationship with her best friend Jonah because he really has her back and just wants the best for her, and Emily and Ray’s instant chemistry was brilliant and I was rooting for them both the whole time.⠀
One Christmas Star addresses some very important topics (but I won’t give them away as it spoils the plot) all I will say is that they were dealt with in a very delicate matter, highlighting how important it is for them to be discussed.⠀
This book was absolutely brilliant and I loved it so much 💕 ⠀
One Christmas Star easily gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me ⠀
